Vantage CAD Services is a production drafting and BIM studio headquartered in Austin, Texas, and part of Axion Strategic Holdings, Inc.
POSITION
The extended technical team.
We work as the extended technical team for architecture, engineering and construction firms across North America, the United Kingdom and Australia — producing drawings and models to each client's own standards, without the addition of permanent headcount.
We are not a design practice. We do not compete with our clients, and we hold no client relationships of our own. Our role is to produce the documentation that translates design into a buildable outcome.
Early engagements identified a consistent pattern: firms that had previously used external drafting support had been disappointed, not through any deficiency in technical skill, but because supplier standards had been applied in place of the client's own. The business is structured around three controls to prevent exactly that.

A named lead retained for the project
The same person from scoping through handover. No rotating pool, no shared inbox.
A documented quality gate before release
Verified by someone other than the person who produced the work.
PRINCIPLES
What we hold to.
Precision is a function of process.
Competent professionals still make errors; robust systems identify them. Every deliverable is verified against a written checklist derived from the client's standards before release.
Work requiring rework is not economical.
The material cost of external production is not the rate but the senior time absorbed in correction. We do not position ourselves as the lowest-cost option available.
Direct access, not account management.
Many production studios interpose client managers between the client and the technical team. We consider that layer an obstacle rather than a service.
Issues are raised early.
Conflicting source documents, an unachievable programme, or work for which we are not the right supplier — that assessment is provided at the outset, not in the final week.
